1. Scalability and Load Balancing

  • Amazon EC2 Auto Scaling groups were configured with scaling policies to add capacity when CPU utilization exceeded 70% for more than 5 minutes and scale down when below 20%.
  • An Application Load Balancer (ALB) was deployed to distribute traffic evenly across instances and enable path- and host-based routing.
